My biography



My name is Catalina Lépez. I was born in Santa Cruz on January 29, 1997. However, I lived all my childhood and adolescence in Palmilla, until I came to study in Santiago.
I attended elementary school at "Maria Auxiliadora" school and then at the secondary school at "Evelyn's School". In the year 2014 I surrendered the PSU and I entered the University of Chile to the career of Psychology.
My family is made up of my parents, Pablo and Soledad and my 2 sisters. Pilar has 8 and Francisca 15, so they are still in school. I also have two dogs, Maximo and Carlota.
I like to travel and to know places, to enjoy the gastronomy and the diverse cultures, but also I like to stay at home, to read a good book and to cook something delicious.

When I was a child I wanted to be stewardess, because I found it entertaining what they were doing. I also liked the uniform they used. When I was 17 I took the PSU admission test to get into university, but I still did not decide which career to study, I had many options in mind, for example literature and letters, pedagogy in language, sociology, anthropology, but only humanist careers. Finally, when I learned the score I had achieved, I decided to study psychology at this university. My experience in the university up to now has been interesting, because I have learned a lot more than I thought I would learn, and every time I think I´ll find out more. I still do not I have decided I want to work when I graduate, but I like the area of juridical psychology, and especially the area of development psychology, for example, I would like to work in SENAME or in the school.

Lev Vygotsky was a Russian national psychologist who was born on November 17, 1896. He is one of the leading psychologists in the field of developmental psychology and also founded historical-cultural psychology.
